We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our Health & Wellness team, within our Operations Division on a full-time, 3-month fixed term contract as a Health & Wellness Specialist with the opportunity to extend in a casual capacity beyond the 3 months.

This position provides health-based expertise as well as technical support and assistance to the wider HSE function.


Reporting to the Manager - Health & Wellness and working closely with operational personnel in head office and regional areas, the key deliverables for the role are:

  • Health and Wellness Program
  • lead and provide coordination support to Manager
  • Health and Wellness;
  • Implement primary prevention, early intervention, injury management and workers compensation strategies;
  • Support the coordination of Mental health programs;
  • HSE help inbox oversight and engaging the wider HSE team for support on other health related matters; and
  • Employee Fitness for work
  • timely processing of medicals, including harvest recruitment, coordination, and technical support of fitness for work requirements for onboarding and throughout the employment lifespan.
  • Health-field tertiary qualification (OT, Physio, Exercise Physiology, Occupational Hygiene or Nursing preferred);
  • 2 + years' experience in a similar occupational health role or other related health field;
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team delivering health-related projects and improvement initiatives (desirable); and
  • Sound knowledge and background in occupational hygiene or nursing (desirable).
