The Role:

Due to recent growth in category portfolios, we have an amazing opportunity to join a well-established, highly professional, and high-performing Strategic Sourcing Team at CBH for 12 months.


The role will encompass market engagement activities and the establishment of Agreements in multiple categories of spend, including Maintenance, Professional Services, Consulting, IT.


Working collaboratively with customers and vendors, the role will also include support on stakeholder relationship management initiatives, on strategic business initiatives and category strategies that will drive value optimization, innovation and efficiency.

You may be required to travel to Company and Vendor offices and sites, from time to time.


Key accountabilities- Lead stakeholders through all aspects of procurement, including process, commercial considerations, contract implementation and management.- Run effective source-to-contract processes (e.g., fact base analysis, market engagement strategy and implementation, contract negotiations, award and implementation).- Maintain business intelligence of market conditions and internal and external risks / opportunities.- Pro-actively run quality and timely negotiations with vendors and internal stakeholders, providing sound data analysis and expert procurement insights.- Implement effective portfolio management and customer engagement.- Participate in CBH Group strategic initiatives and continuous improvement activities.- Ensure stakeholder alignment with category and sourcing strategies.


About you

You should hold a tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Management or equivalent and have a minimum of 3 years in a commercial procurement role.


You will also possess the following:

  • Proactive, self-starter with demonstrated willingness to adapt to changing priorities-
  • Stakeholder management experience with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking, with good attention to detail and time management skills
  • Proficient in the MS Office Suite of products, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Excel (including a working knowledge of data cleansing/shaping techniques like Pivot tables and charts)
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
  • A basic understanding of category management.
Desirable- Working knowledge of SAP and Ariba.- Multicategory procurement experience
