This position is based in one of the workshops of the Regional Service Centre.

Some repairs or maintenance jobs may be carried out at customer's locations; also there might be a need to cover in the other workshop from time to time so the position may involve some short travels.

Description

  • Service various devices such as Concentrators, Pressure Regulators, CPAP Machines. and other medical equipment according to training and accreditation received
  • Carry out performance, reliability and safety tests of medical equipment as per the
  • Ensure proper calibration of service equipment and instrumentation as per manufacturer's procedures.
  • Record calibration operations appropriately
  • Participate in stock takes and reconciliation of stock for the workshop
  • Oversee warranty claims for local and overseas suppliers
  • Record in the Company's information system (ERP) all processes carried out on each piece of equipment.
  • Receive training and accreditation from appropriate training sources (manufacturers, direct supervisor) on a regular basis or when a new product or model is introduced in the Company manufacturer's recommendations

Profile

Key Experience and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will have

  • Electrical qualification
  • Ability to solve practical problems
  • Ability to manage competing demands and follow tasks to completion
  • Ability to read and interpret an extensive variety of instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to lift up to 25Kg (10% of the day)
  • Basic computer skills, Excel, Microsoft Word and other software
