About the role:

We currently have excellent opportunity for a Service Technician to join our Nalco Water Light business in Victoria.

We are looking for an individual who is a team player and looking to start their career in the water industry with a progressive organisation that prides itself on inclusion and development.

Having water experience within the institutional, commercial, or industrial environment is desirable but certainly not essential. To succeed, you will possess an innate desire to learn and always strive to deliver outstanding customer value.

You will have the ability to perform manual work involving, but not restricted to, technical water testing for which, world class training will be provided.

You will be provided a fully maintained Tool of Trade vehicle.

Full and extensive safety and technical training will be provided. Nalco Water will cover all training cost such as working at heights, confined space and LOTO.


Key responsibilities will include:


  • Understanding and utilising on site technology and completing reports
  • Developing strong client relationships by driving value added and focused service delivery
  • Gaining a better understanding of our infield process and water treatment services for future development.

Preferably you will have:


  • A cando mentality and positive attitude.
  • Problemsolving ability.
  • Able to lift 20 kilograms
  • A desire to work in the water treatment and process chemical business.
  • Can perform in a highly autonomous role.
  • High commitment to Safety, Environment, Occupational Health and Quality.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
