Are you passionate about advancing knowledge in immunology and molecular biology? Join the Lahoud Laboratory at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology as a Research Fellow and delve into ground-breaking research on dendritic cells and their role in damage recognition.
- Conducting innovative research projects under limited supervision, contributing to publications and presentations
- Managing multifaceted projects, overseeing research by students to achieve project goals
- Utilizing advanced laboratory techniques including molecular biology, flow cytometry, and protein expression
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and attending conferences to expand your professional network
- Mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students in your field of expertise
- Developing researchrelated materials for teaching purposes
- Engaging in departmental meetings and committees to contribute to the academic community
To qualify, you'll need:
- A doctoral qualification in Immunology and/or Molecular Biology
- Expertise in recombinant protein/antibody engineering and immunotherapeutic approaches
- Strong analytical and manuscript preparation skills, evidenced by a track record of research publications
- Proficiency in animal models, molecular biology techniques, and flow cytometry
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Awareness of confidentiality and privacy principles
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new software
