The Opportunity

The Neuromedicines Discovery Centre (NDC) is focused on research into mental health conditions to bring hope to those for whom current treatments are ineffective.

The NDC offers end-to-end capability from bench to bedside and into the community.

We are currently seeking to recruit a Research Fellow in Neurobiology for a 12-month fixed-term position.

This role will form a key part of the Molecular and Translational Drug Discovery lab in the Neuromedicines Discovery Centre.

The Research Fellow performs a range of research activities to support the delivery of outcomes for a major and long-standing research partnership between the Neuromedicines Discovery Centre and Servier (France), working on new therapeutic discovery for neurological disorders.

To be successful in this role, you will have a doctoral qualification in neurobiology, stem cell biology, cell biology or a closely related field.

You will also have experience of neuronal cell culture and/or stem cell biology, qPCR, western blotting, and quantitative/high-content confocal imaging.
