In this role, you will serve as a functional leader, working closely with business leaders to provide guidance and support on employee relations matters.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that promote positive employee relations and engagement.

You will play a key role in building on the organisational capability and deliver on People and Culture strategy.

In this role, you will:


  • Partner with the business on Employee relations matters.
  • Partner with management to identify and drive change initiatives that will positively impact culture.
  • Partner with managers on the implementation and interpretation of policies and processes.
  • Provide generalist human resources advice, support, and coaching.
  • Have a thorough working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and ability to lead cases that are lodged.
  • Have the ability to live and breathe our values and have a positive attitude, great initiative and the ability to hit the ground running.
  • Have confidence in liaising with people at all levels in an engaging, friendly and approachable manner.
  • Tertiary qualifications and /or relevant experience as a P&C Business Partner or Advisor with a minimum of atleast 35 years' experience.
  • Have a strong understanding of employment legislation and remuneration frameworks, with previous experience working with and understanding award interpretation.
  • Have relevant experience in managing complex ER matters, particularly workplace investigations.
  • Have previous experience in delivering training programs.
  • Organisational and timemanagement abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problemsolving and decisionmaking aptitude.
  • Good influencing and coaching skills.
  • Professional Membership of AHRI will be highly regarded.
