    The Company
    Our client is a diversified trading company and a member of a global group. It engages in various businesses, including automotive, industrial machinery, energy, chemicals, food, and consumer goods. Its operations span across trading, manufacturing, and sales activities globally.

    The Role
    Reporting into the General Finance Manager, your key focus will be around the following:

    • Prepare monthly, quarterly & close schedules
    • Provide accurate & timely monthly analysis/commentaries of results
    • Prepare & review statutory financial reports
    • Assist with the coordination of year-end external audit processes
    • Accounting for profit and loss & balance sheet accounts including preparation of monthly journals/general ledger reconciliations
    • Manage equity accounting for associates & joint ventures
    • Preparation of quarterly & annual asset impairment review
    • Provide technical accounting guidance to the wider business and prepare technical accounting position papers for external audit purposes
    • Coach junior team members
    • Project work as required

    The Candidate
    Our client is looking to attract an ambitious candidate who is considering their first move out of a Big 4/Mid-Tier firm. You will have excellent analytical capabilities and be a confident communicator who can engage with and influence non-financial stakeholders. Additionally, you will possess an enthusiastic & ambitious attitude that allows you to work collaboratively within a high-performing finance team.
