Disability Empowerment and Support Foundation (DESF)

DESF provides staff to various SIL Providers in WA with services from administration to disability support workers.


Description:


We are looking for a Quality and Compliance Manager who will plays a crucial role in ensuring that the assigned SIL organisation adheres to regulatory standards and maintains high-quality services.

This is initially a part time position with the possibility of becoming a full-time position in the future.

  • Developing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Conducting regular audits to identify areas for improvement and address possible noncompliance issues.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to develop effective quality control processes and initiatives.
  • Providing guidance and support to staff on quality and compliancerelated matters, including training programs.
  • Analysing data to identify trends and potential areas of risk and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Preparing reports for senior management on quality performance, compliance status, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Liaising with external regulators, auditors, and stakeholders to facilitate inspections, audits, and assessments.

Skills and Experiences:


  • Proven experience in quality management and compliance within the NDIS sector
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for liaising with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies
  • Ability to develop and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation related to quality and compliance.
  • Audit experience and the capability to lead or support audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programs on quality and compliance topics.
  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance organisational processes.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools for monitoring key performance indicators related to quality and compliance.
  • Relevant qualifications in quality management, compliance, or a related field would be advantageous.
