Exciting Opportunity for a Payroll Officer

  • Reporting to the Group Human Resources Manager,
  • Looking for someone passionate about payroll and human resources

Position Summary:


Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Group Human Resources Manager, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the HR team with payroll-related information and providing ADHOC support as needed.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely payroll services, including endtoend volume payroll processing, endofmonth and endofyear payroll balancing & reporting, and Single Touch Payroll reconciliation.
  • Completing employment changes and requests, such as new hires, terminations, adjustments, and classification changes.
  • Responding to management and employees' payrollrelated queries.
  • Maintaining and updating personnel data in our payroll database, ensuring that all systems contain current information.
  • Reviewing employment contracts to ensure compliance with legislative requirements, including tax and superannuation obligations.
  • Managing and updating Payroll and HR records, including general administration, filing, and archiving while ensuring confidentiality and privacy at all times.
  • Conducting payroll audits to guarantee data accuracy and generating reports as required.

Qualifications & Attributes:


  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Proven ability to interpret legislation and policy, providing guidance to managers
  • Ability to develop relationships and maintain confidentiality within the team at all levels of the company.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail, excellent time management, and problemsolving skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
