FULL-TIME - CROWN MELBOURNE

The role is responsible for sharing and promoting information, news, stories, and updates to the 20,000+ Crown team members, providing advisory support on internal communications activities, and implementing and executing internal communications initiatives and strategy.

The Internal Communications Manager will work closely with key stakeholders, developing a regular cadence to help identify and support business objectives, including Crown's transformation agenda.


Some responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the execution of group internal communications plan, in line with overarching Group Communications strategy.
  • Contribute to the planning of the internal communications calendar, channels, and the implementation of key internal communications campaigns, ensuring messaging is on brand, relevant and in line with Crown purpose and cultural values.
  • Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications channels.
  • Work closely with Communications team to identify internal stories which could be shared externally.
  • Proactively build strong and positive relationships with key stakeholders and business units to ensure timely, aligned, and effective internal communications.
  • Actively participate in the Communications team culture, displaying Crown's values of integrity, care, excellence and always working together.
  • Develops campaigns and works within allocated budget set by Group Head of Internal Communications.
  • Ensure compliance with and adherence to all relevant legislation and policies and procedures in relation to Responsible Service of Gaming (including training), and the Responsible Gambling Code of Conduct.

The following criteria will be considered when reviewing applicants:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Journalism, Public Relations, Media or equivalent.
  • 57 years' experience in a communications role.
  • Experience in communications, team engagement or associated industry.
  • Experience utilising Workplace by Meta or equivalent.
  • Previous experience leading a team.
Proven experience working in a retail or complex corporate environment.
