An exciting opportunity to work within the Crown Maintenance Department in the position of Property Services Officer - Day Shift Upholsterer has become available.

In this role, you will be working in a multi skilled position within a small team of electricians and plumbers and will be responsible for ongoing maintenance and repairs of building plant & equipment, Gaming and kitchen equipment, assets and other building infrastructure and assets at Crown.

Some responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:

Preventative maintenance on gaming tables and replacing gaming table layouts.
Furniture repairsreupholstery across:
Casino
Crown Towers, Crown Metropol & Crown Promenade
Conference Centers across all properties
Gaming Tables
Curtains
Entertainment Venues
Ability to receive and dispatch furniture at Crown loading dock.
Being able to work autonomously.
Basic carpentry skills are preferred.
Manual handling such as but not limited to pushing and pulling trolleys.
Competent use of power and hand tools

To be successful, you will need:

Certificate III in Upholstery
Significant experience in a similar role in a large complex with strong sewing skills.
Experience in recovery works (reupholstery)
The ability to go the extra mile to achieve an outstanding result and service excellence in a highpressure environment and meet tight deadlines.
Experience in providing exceptional Customer Service
Ability to work autonomously and as a team player.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to obtain a Casino Special Employee License (required Police Check and Credit Check)
