VicHealth is the world's first health promotion foundation.

Established by the Victorian Parliament in 1987, we were the first agency of our kind worldwide to utilise a hypothecated tax on tobacco to support independent, long-term, evidence-based health promotion practice, partnerships and leadership.

Through world-class research, our work with, through, and for communities, and our strategic partnerships at all levels of government in Australia, we aim to build and use VicHealth's influence, independence, relationships, voice and expertise to reshape the systems that improve health and wellbeing for all Victorians.

Leading a team of dedicated professionals, the position of
Manager, Investments and Partnerships will report directly to the Executive Manager, Policy, Strategy and Impact Group, and will work strategically by managing and overseeing all organisational investments including grants, Requests for Tender (RFT), and Requests for Quote (RFQ) processes, as well as leading the effective and efficient delivery of VicHealth's Partnerships and Stakeholder framework.

You'll thrive in this integral management level opportunity by fully utilising your demonstrated strategic direction, innovation, and decision-making experience.

You'll bring excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills to manage in a busy and challenging environment. You'll be a great problem solver, who can demonstrate how you take a whole-of-system view. You will also take a strategic approach to the way VicHealth works with partners across the whole sector.

Agility, initiative, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a shared services function, both internally and externally, will be key strengths.

Finally, you will also be very comfortable with financial and budget management.

VicHealth is committed to ensuring appointments represent the diversity of our community. Women, Indigenous people, people with disability, young people, LGBTIQ+ people and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
