    You'll be responsible for

    • Maintaining a timely delivery of property claims outcomes which meet or exceed the customer expectations throughout the life of a claim.
    • Liaising with claimants, repairers and other internal/external stakeholders to drive timely decision making and life of claim outcomes.
    • Assessing indemnity, liability of claims, costs and the validity of building and remediation scope of works
    • Assessing remediation and make safe claims and costs.
    • Reviewing building and remediation cause of damage reports including geotechnical and structural engineering reports.
    • Identifying defects and non-compliance repairs utilising Australian Standards and National Construction Code.

    About you

    • Building Trade Qualifications and/or Loss Assessor qualification through ANZIIF
    • Extensive property assessing and customer service experience
    • Comprehensive technical knowledge of theories and practices of Insurance and loss
    • Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands
    • Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting and communication tools
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
