The role of the Regional Sales Representative is to achieve Profitable Growth by building and maintaining professional relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.

The Regional Sales Representative is accountable for developing a portfolio of business that includes both renewals and new business within the relevant area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve the annual sales target comprised of a mix of renewals and new business as set annually to achieve the WFI targets
  • Maintain prospect bank by proactive lead generation and actively grow prospects through existing alliance partners, current clients and networking activities
  • Conduct sales campaigns and identify opportunities within the area to improve sales performance


  • Budgetary responsibility

  • GWP, New Business, Renewals, GWLR
  • Act withing set underwriting authority levels, use underwriting tools to assess risks and conduct surveys
  • Develop client relationships through involvement in the community, alliance partners and business connections
  • Develop and implement an annual Sales Plan to achieve required sales targets comprised of renewals and new business opportunities.
Skills & Experience

  • General insurance knowledge and experience
  • Industry and/or field experience
  • Sales experience
  • Customer Service
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in a sales and service role in the insurance industry
  • Accountability for delivering on a sales target
  • Skills demonstrated through experience
  • Trained to the level of Tier 1 PS 146 or higher in relation to general insurance products (or progress towards)
