Reporting to the Group Financial Controller

  • ANZ, you will be a key member of the Finance team responsible for ensuring that our financials is recorded timely and accurately. Working crossfunctions to support the wider business with meaningful financial insights. Working on adhoc project improvement projects.

What will you be doing?


In this position, you will have a variety of responsibilities to add value to the organization and make a genuine impact.


Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Form business relationships with all corporate stakeholders to maximise financial growth and market strategy
  • Act as the main point of contact between GBS and Corporate Business Stakeholders
  • Work closely with GBS and provide an ongoing support
  • Preparation, review and approval of internal and external financial reports, month end close, and audit processes to ensure integrity and accuracy of GDT financial results
  • Oversight of finance activities for all corporate head office costs, supply chain, and fixed assets

About You
To be successful in this position you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Minimum 5 years accounting experience particular over GL enquiry and group reporting / consolidation processes.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge. Familiar with IFRS and US GAAP
  • Adept public accounting experience
  • SAP or similar ERP experience
  • Business Partnering
  • Experience working in/with a complex organisational structure
  • Strong problemsolving ability
  • Will consider senior managers or experience managers from Big 4 first mover

  • Strong core financial skills across financial analysis, accounting, finance systems and processes
  • Refined internal relationship skills across both the business and finance teams
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills and the ability to clearly present financial information
  • An ability to work independently and proactively, demonstrating intellectual curiosity and a focus on continuous improvement of processes
  • Strong problemsolving skill and ability to collaborate with others in order to resolve issues
