    Trailhead Academy Account Executive - Sydney, Australia - Salesforce, Inc.

    We are currently seeking Trailhead Academy Account Executives to join our growing sales team within the Customer Success Group (CSG). As a critical member of the GTM team, you are responsible for establishing relationships both with customers and our license sales team in order to present a co-ordinated training strategy that underpins a customer's success of their Salesforce investment. The Trailhead Account Executive creates, progresses and closes opportunities for all technical training across each Salesforce product. The role works closely with customers IT and technical stakeholders, such as CTO's, CIO's, Developers, Business Analysts etc

    The Trailhead Account Executive (TAE) will formulate and implement a sales strategy within assigned territories, drive revenue growth by penetrating the current customer base, and develop new customers in their assigned space. A TAE creates, progresses and closes opportunities for all technical training across the full suite Salesforce products. As a business development professional, you must be a driven individual who can generate a large amount of pipeline for the business within a short period of time.

    You will work as a trusted advisor to deeply understand the business challenges and goals our customers face relating to the people side of CRM and digital transformation, working with them to position the right training and enablement solutions. By inspiring change and enablement by participating and leading client meetings or engaging other corporate resources as required, as well as participating in regional forecast calls and account planning sessions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Drive tailored learning strategies for our customers with the entire Trailhead Academy portfolio
    • Facilitate qualification, discovery, deal cycle participation, and account reviews
    • Increase awareness of our learning offerings among internal teams and our customers
    • Build pipeline, accurately forecast sales, log activities and maintain good hygiene in CRM
    • Create compelling sales proposals that drive customer value
    • Drive bookings and revenue across substantial industry verticals in Australia
    • Collaborate effectively with account teams on strategy
    • Meet and exceed a quarterly sales quota
    • Develop trusted internal and customer relationships through consistent activity and engagement
    • Develop sales strategies to drive revenue within specified portfolio
    • Create new leads from prospecting efforts
    • Thoroughly qualify leads & sales opportunities leverage business from new & established relationships to strategize, negotiate & close business

    Required Qualifications:

    Depending on the segment, the years of experience and skills needed to be successful will vary from 5-10 years of quota-carrying sales and account management experience or experience in technology industry with exposure to licence or training/enablement sales.

    • Average of 5-10 years of full cycle sales experience, with at least 1 in the field with a proven track record of success
    • Experience managing and growing existing and/or net new logo accounts
    • Experience selling to the C-suite
    • Ability to craft a point of view and build credibility as a 'Trusted Adviser' with your customers
    • Experience building a business case and delivering return on investment
    • Ability to build and deliver presentations to your customers
    • Ability to strategize with a large extended internal team
