What you'll be doing

The incumbent is a member of a team of several Clinical Training and Support positions of the District's Information Communication and Technology (ICT) Services.

The position is primarily responsible for the training and support of clinical users of the SWSLHD's electronic medical record and other Clinical Information Systems.

This system is in use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.


These positions are based at a particular facility to provide on-site support and will provide after-hours support as part of a rostered pool.

The incumbent will be required to be available to travel between facilities, work weekdays, weekends, public holidays and on-call shifts, as necessary.

How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.

  • Preferred experience in Nursing, Medicine or an Allied Health discipline, high level knowledge of clinical work flows and clinical information systems.
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or equivalent demonstrated experience and highlevel skills in facilitating learning processes.
  • Demonstrated experience with computer clinical information systems and knowledge of the applicability to both the inpatient and noninpatient service sectors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical, problem solving and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team as required.
