About the role:

The Business Partner sits in the Health Funding, Finance and Investment division, and is responsible for the relationship between HFFI and another division/s.

Maintaining oversight of how effectively Health Funding, Finance and Investment division branches service the rest of the Department, you will develop solutions and strategies to address needs of your division, while also providing intelligence to HFFI to meet upcoming priorities in your division and identify business improvement opportunities to uplift capability.

Familiarity with Health Funding, Finance and Investment functions broadly, and/or familiarity with these functions in supported division(s), is highly desirable.

Experience in public sector finance would be highly regarded.

Diagnosis: Strong ability to accurately diagnose root causes of business inefficiencies, gaps, duplications and risks. This will include business process, legislative obligations and human components.

Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills, with an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, provide advice on processes and policy and work effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications:

CPA or CA or other equivalent accounting qualification and membership will also be highly regarded. Experience in public sector finance would be highly regarded.
