Our Client is an internationally renowned organisation, with a brilliant reputation for delivering innovation and quality installations.They are involved in design, documentation and manufacture of market leading equipment and maintenance services to the retail and commercial building industry throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Presently they are offering a 24-month minimum contract with immediate start for a BIM Designer in their Major Projects office conveniently located in Brisbane, Queensland.
Typically, this will include compilation of complex engineering models and related drawings, required for the production, installation and scheduling of Vertical Transportation mechanical and electrical/electronic components.
Key Competencies- Extensive experience in implementing project wide BIM Management plans
- Conversion of BIM models to customer deliverable requirements
- High level REVIT software and model creation
- Proficient in 2D CAD formats such as AutoCAD
- Working knowledge of Navisworks
- Ability to work with OEM BIM models
- Review of integrated project wide models for clash detection and spatial constraints
- Ability and IT setup to work from home office (Brisbane metro) if required
Personal attributes needed include highly developed communications skills (both verbal and written) as well as the flexibility to work independently (e.g., from home office) or as part of a wider team of design professionals in Brisbane and Sydney.
