A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounting / Finance individual to join a leading international manufacturing company in the position of Supply Chain Finance Business Partner.

The primary purpose of this role is to partner with manufacturing teams in the pursuit of operational excellence and cost control.

Responsibilities include defining and ensuring the delivery of the financial objectives as well as realising and judging risks and opportunities.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Provide financial advice and support to key business leaders to manage business operations and performance effectively and efficiently
  • Identify gaps between forecasts to targets, actuals to targets and assist in the development and agreement on strategy required
  • Budgeting, forecasting and annual planning process for business unit ensuring strategic alignment to business objectives
  • Manage and support the explanation and analysis of quality, timely and accurate routine, cyclic and adhoc financial management reports to support decision making
  • Provide support to the business on funding options, commercial strategies, project costing and business case preparation
  • Establish collaborative relationships to meet business needs as well as coaching and contributing to business strategy

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:


  • Accounting Degree (preferred)
  • Costing experience in a manufacturing environment is essential
  • Process improvement skills
  • Thorough understanding of cost accounting methods and procedures
  • Knowledge of the SAP software system (Financial)
  • Strong computer skills in Excel
  • Strong reporting and presentation skills
  • Proven communication skills both verbal and written
  • Relevant experience in packaging/food industry
