    IMMEDIATE START: Personal Care Workers in Mackay, Queensland

    Are you a compassionate and skilled Personal Care Worker with a calling for providing exceptional care to the elderly? Conexson is inviting applications for the position of Casual Aged Care Personal Care Worker to join our compassionate team.

    Position Overview:

    As a Personal Care Worker at Conexson, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in need. This role involves assisting clients with activities of daily living, fostering a positive and supportive environment, and promoting independence while ensuring their safety and well-being.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
    • Provide assistance with mobility and transfers.
    • Support with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed.
    • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
    • Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior to the supervising nurse or manager.
    • Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship.
    • Adhere to care plans and follow established protocols.

    Benefits:

    • Competitive salary from $ $75.28 per hour plus Superannuation, Employee Benefits, and Penalty Rates.

    Qualifications:

    • Rights to work in Australia
    • Certificate 3 in Individual Support/Equivalent or Paid Experience
    • NDIS Screening Check/Police Check
    • Blue Card
    • Updated First Aid and CPR Certificate
    • Vaccinations (3X Covid-19 vaccinations, current flu shot)
