Our Advanced Polymers division in Mordialloc produce high-performance plastic compounds and resins that are used as raw materials in markets such as Agriculture, Building & Construction, Electrical & Electronics, Packaging, Personal Care & Hygiene and Sports, Leisure & Homewares.

Custom services are also offered and include Specialised Compounding, Product Testing, Blending, Bulk Handling, Machinery and Warehousing.


About the role:

Our Advanced Polymers division are seeking a HSEQ Coordinator responsible for the effective development, implementation and maintenance of the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Management System at the Mordialloc site and assist with the achievement of GoalZERO

In this role you will;

  • Ensure compliance with all HSE laws and regulation for the current facility/process
  • Implement Operational Excellence standard on site by working with related functions to complete selfassessment, gap analysis and gap closure to ensure its' effective implementation.
  • Develop and maintain an effective ISO9001 management system and integrate it into the site HSE management systems.
  • Develop and maintain site occupational safety and process safety procedures, as well as environment and health programs, such as work permitting, energy isolation, hot work, working at height, process risk management etc.
  • Deliver ongoing training to employees/contractors to raise safety awareness and ensure staff have the required safety knowledge/training prior to undertaking tasks
  • Follow up on various HSE related findings that result from corporate audits, Safety Walk, near miss reporting, etc. and ensure they are investigated, addressed and closed timely and effectively.
  • Coordinate HSE projects to ensure they are planned, carried out and completed effectively, efficiently, on time and on budget.
  • Ensure adequate/ correct PPE is in stock and used on site.
  • Complete ad hoc HSE tasks assigned by company or management from time to time.
  • Help production and business to analyze any nonconformance related to process, product and develop system for continuous improvement and updating of SOP's as requied

  • Strong organization and planning Skills
