About the role
Revenue Digital is looking for a Principal Product Designer to join their growing team.

Revenue NSW is transforming the way NSW Government agencies interact with customers.

We are passionate about putting the customer at the centre of everything we do and adopting new technologies to make government work better.


This role is an exciting opportunity to work with the broader Revenue Digital team, collaborate with stakeholders, and lead us in product and design think to unify customer experiences across Revenue NSW.


As
Principal Product Designer you will be able to influence product strategy at a group level through your excellent communication of customer insights, opportunities, and product vision.


In this role you will:


  • Lead the design process of a project, from opportunity through to implementation.
  • Work in a highly collaborative, crossdisciplinary team with other Product Designers, Content Designers, Product Managers and Engineers. Our small, focused teams consistently achieve great results by listening to customer needs and iteratively and continuously shipping products.
  • Define best product design practices based on consultation and inclusion.
  • Build and lead Product Design Chapter.
  • Coach other product designers to deliver high impact customer centric products.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

  • Experience in leading and framing User Experience research tasks as part of Product Discovery.
  • User experience research (both qualitative and quantitative; generative and evaluative).
  • The ability to lead research planning, execution, and documentation.
  • Excellent utilisation of user experience processes and workshop facilitation techniques.
  • Experience in leading the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and user interface designs.
  • The ability to actively collaborate across squads and contribute to team activities.
  • Desire to undertake initiatives outside of existing project commitments to improve design team practices, team resources and ways of working.
