  • Permanent full-time role, based in Parramatta with a hybrid/flexible working model:

Generous remuneration package. Salary ranges from $134,411 to $155,445 plus super and annual leave loading
The Aboriginal Housing Office (AHO) is currently seeking to appoint a Manager Property Maintenance to join their Property Directorate.


As the
Manager Property Maintenance, you will develop and implement innovative strategies and multiple property projects to ensure high standards and quality of refurbishment and maintenance.

This includes renewal programs to drive better value from existing properties and to achieve positive outcomes for Aboriginal people, families, groups, and communities.


You will also be instrumental in leading our capital maintenance program and be responsible to manage AHO's annual maintenance budget of approximately $30 million per annum.


You will lead the AHO's Property maintenance team to ensure that property maintenance strategies and programs are implemented, focusing on ensuring our portfolio is well-maintained and safe for our Aboriginal tenants across NSW.


In this role you will have the opportunity to see the impact of your work and support, this means the role does require you to travel throughout NSW to work within the communities you are supporting.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have experience managing large to medium-scale repair and maintenance projects.

Your ability to build and maintain relationships as well as possess strong stakeholder engagement skills will also be key to your success.

You'll have demonstrated exposure and experience with large-scale budgets and have solid financial and commercial acumen, allowing you to allocate and prioritise funding appropriately against project deliverables.

The Aboriginal Housing Office (AHO) is a statutory authority, established under the Aboriginal Housing Act 1998 (NSW) and plans, administers and expands the policies, programs and asset base for Aboriginal housing in NSW.

This includes resource allocation, sector-wide policy, strategic planning, and monitoring outcomes and performance in the Aboriginal community housing sector. In order to achieve this AHO receives funding from both the NSW and the Australian Governments.
