About the role
***We are seeking an

Arts Specialist Teacher with the skills and abilities to teach The Arts curriculum from P-6.

***As a dynamic and innovative member of our school community, you will: - Proficiency in embedding a wide range of ICLTs across The Arts curriculum would be an advantage

Create a nurturing and ordered learning environment which is learnercentred, safe, supportive, cooperative and aligned with relevant curriculum, policies and practices
Collaborate with your peers to develop and implement quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy
Demonstrate high levels of flexibility, initiative, cooperation and a preparedness to investigate and adopt contemporary pedagogies in a teambased learning environment
Assess, provide feedback and report on student learning
Have a growth mindset and hands on approach
Work with the school leadership team and colleagues to contribute to the professional life of the school
Proactively engage with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes
Ensure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.

About you - To be successful in this role you will bring relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experienceas well as:

Strong literacy, numeracy and digital literacy practices plus a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum
Commitment to child safety
Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills to work with staff, children, and parents,
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Proven organisational skills
Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes
Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice and engagement.

At BCE our teachers are required to:

Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration; and
Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
