About the role
- We are seeking an innovative, committed and enthusiastic
Learning Enhancement Officer (Teacher Aide) to join our Learning Enhancement Team to undertake a range of tasks in supporting teachers, and the needs of students, across the curriculum.
- Duties_
- Work collaboratively and independently as determined by nature of practice required
- Engage in effective support processes and practices for Learning Enhancement in keeping with the values and ethos of the College
- Demonstrate use of equipment, support with the use of assistive technology, and visual representation of teacher instructions
- Assist students to develop independent learning skills and readiness for learning
- Assist with administrative tasks, including photocopying, processing documents, binding, laminating, etc.
- Skills and Experience_
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with all faculties and support structures within the College community
- First Aid Certificate would be an advantageous
- Intermediate skills using Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work with a diverse range of students including Extension students
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
