About the role

We are seeking an innovative, committed and enthusiastic

Learning Enhancement Officer (Teacher Aide) to join our Learning Enhancement Team to undertake a range of tasks in supporting teachers, and the needs of students, across the curriculum.

Duties_
Work collaboratively and independently as determined by nature of practice required
Engage in effective support processes and practices for Learning Enhancement in keeping with the values and ethos of the College
Demonstrate use of equipment, support with the use of assistive technology, and visual representation of teacher instructions
Assist students to develop independent learning skills and readiness for learning
Assist with administrative tasks, including photocopying, processing documents, binding, laminating, etc.
Skills and Experience_
High level of interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with all faculties and support structures within the College community
First Aid Certificate would be an advantageous
Intermediate skills using Microsoft Office suite
Ability to work with a diverse range of students including Extension students

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;

- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
