About the opportunity


As our Social Media and Content Coordinator, you will be our video content superstar and support the rollout of social media across Healthdirect Australia's accounts.

Reporting to the Marketing Specialist, this role will assist with the execution of social media creation, to build brand awareness and engagement.

This role will require you to bring your creative ideas and in-depth knowledge of TikTok to create content, assist with advertising, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.


This is an exciting opportunity to grow your experience with a health brand and demonstrate your social media and content creation skills.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and create video content across TikTok and reels
  • Brainstorm new and fun creative ideas to engage with our audience
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement the social media & content calendar.
  • Create and schedule organic social media posts across TikTok, Facebook and Instagram
  • Assist with social media campaigns
  • Liaise with designer to develop illustrations
  • Research current social media trends and sounds to leverage social presence across all platforms.
  • Analysis of social media analytics

What we're looking for

  • 1+ years' experience in social media for an organisation
  • Experience with creating short video content
  • A comprehensive understanding of social media platforms (FB, IG & TikTok), pop culture and emerging trends.
  • Experience using Adobe Design Suite and/or Canva
