About the opportunity


Join the Business Resilience team and work alongside other corporate support services in the Corporate Services Division to optimise Healthdirect's business resilience, assurance and compliance capabilities as the Incident Response Capability and Compliance Lead, you will work alongside and complement the work of the Business Resilience Manager and Business Resilience Lead.


This role will drive and enhance organisational resilience, improving practices policies and procedures, and uplift organisational awareness and capability in our critical incident control environment.

This role also manages our insurance program and several key compliance activities.


What we're looking for


This role requires strong leadership, collaborative, communication and organisational skills with the ability to effectively navigate and lead through uncertainty.


The essential skills required for this role are:

  • Experience (5 years +) in business continuity and critical incident/disaster response planning and crisis management, including development and implementation of business continuity management and critical incident response plans and processes.
  • Proven capability in ensuring that compliance and business resilience regimes are championed and embraced organisation wide as enablers of strategic objectives and controls for strategic risks.
  • Experience in operations, compliance, and risk management roles.
  • Proven experience in developing and running multidisciplinary crisis/critical incident simulation workshops to achieve actionable results.
