C&K Mount Gravatt West Community Childcare Centre is a unique centre that caters for up to 58 children across 4 learning spaces. Our Centre is now looking for a
Lead Educator who is passionate about working alongside children in their early years. At C&K Mount Gravatt West Community Childcare Centre, spacious and natural environment at our kindy is thoughtfully planned and well-resourced. There is a focus on music, drama, literature and visual arts and we allocate plenty of time for outdoor play and discovery.

Community spirit is important to us at C&K Mount Gravatt West. We foster strong ties to the local community by encouraging parent involvement in the daily operations of the kindergarten. We often hold and partake in community events and love connecting with local businesses and groups around us and taking the children on excursions out into the local community


You will be working on a
permanent full-time basis for 40 hours per week with a rostered day off per month.

We are looking for a lead educator who can be flexible, and work shifts between the hours of
7.00 am to 6.00 pm on rotating rosters.

You will need to hold, or be willing to enrol and work towards

  • Lead Educators: Diploma level qualification in Early Childhood
  • First Aid, CPR and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
  • Paid Blue Card or Exemption Card
  • A Police Check current within 3 months or willing to obtain one
  • All C&K employees are required to undergo background checks which includes a police check. Also, all C&K employees will need to have obtained their 1st and 2nd vaccinations for COVID19 as a condition of employment._
