The primary purpose of the position of IT Helpdesk Support officer is to provide technical support to the Directors, centre Educators and central staff of C&K so that we are able to provide quality education and care to the children that attend our services.


This position provides a fantastic work - life balance with the option to work from home 2 days a week and flexible start and finish times.

You will also have access to a monthly rostered day off when you work a 40 hour week.


About the opportunity


The primary purpose of the position of IT Helpdesk Support officer is to provide timely and effective IT support services to C&K employees, including provision of technical advice, problem identification, and troubleshooting.

The IT Helpdesk Support Officer will assist with professional hardware and software support and maintenance to enable the continued provision of essential services in a timely, efficient and effective manner.


About you

  • Experience in providing technical advice, support and assistance to staff and management on a range of ICT functions.
  • Proven ability to undertake a variety of ICT tasks and projectbased activities that have impact on organisational objectives.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, use sound judgement and set priorities to achieve business objectives.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with a diverse group of customers on various ICTrelated matters.
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work, managing multiple tasks and projects and function effectively as a selfdirected coordinator of multiple initiatives
  • Experience in contributing effectively to the IT team and the business, review and continuous improvement of ICT policies and processes.

Joining our Family

You will need to hold:

  • Paid Blue Card or Exemption Card
  • A Police Check current within 3 months or willingness to obtain one
  • Qualifications in Information Technology although not needed will be highly regarded


C&K will cover the initial and renewal costs of a Blue Card and Police Check for all permanent and fixed term contract employees prior to the commencement of their duties.

All C&K employees are required to undergo background checks which includes a police check.

Also, all C&K employees will need to have obtained their 1st and 2nd vaccinations for COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
