30+ year International Freight Forwarding and customs business with a strong Australian presence and structure where the client comes first in every aspect of every department, tarting with you in your account management role.
Modern open plan office based close to PT and expanding business model with many in the company for over 10+ years tenure.
About the role
A farming Key Account Management role for a portfolio of clients ranging from Tier 1, 2, 3.
Setting up SOP's for new clients, building on existing business by client phone call and visits to understand their supply chain requirements and issues and to supply solutions to them to grow said accounts.
Not only keeping current clients happy and up to date with changes, but mining said accounts to enhance your annual incentive.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supply chain solutions for your list of clients
- Client visits (3 per week)
- Liaising with internal and external departments
- Setting up SOP's for new clients and expanding portfolio
- Daily contact with your portfolio to understand their needs and any issues
- Mining existing business to enhance your portfolio
Skills & Experience
- Freight forwarding experience
- International supply chain understanding for multiple trade lanes
- INCOTERM understanding
- International bookings experience
- Negotiation skills advantageous
- Confidence to run client meetings on a weekly basis
- Solutions minded
