About the role


The role aims to provide our schools and other stakeholders within the business with high quality customer service and advice from a call-centre environment regarding a wide range of issues that have an impact on school operations.

You will be required to liaise with stakeholders to locate solutions to enquiries from both phone calls and through the shared inboxes held by the Department.

The role also assists with the provision of a variety of security services to schools.

You will be working within a team of 3 Customer Service Officers.

The role is a temporary Job Share position available for Thursday and Friday - 14 hours per week with the flexibility to work from home.


Skills and Experience

  • Preferable experience working within a similar role with responsibilities to manage high call volume and shared inbox management.
  • Proven ability to communicate professionally.
  • Exposure to school operations and security is desirable
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
