About the role:


Located in our Adelaide head office, this is a rare opportunity to play an integral role in the delivery of a genuine transformation program.

You will be a technical lead and bring extensive experience in delivering enterprise-wide change programs. You will likely have a software implementation background and an interest in broadening your experience.


Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate a team of technical resources through the journey of a major ERP implementation.

You will direct team members and serve as an escalation point for complex queries.

Whilst this is a team leader position, this role will also require you to be hands-on with contributing to requirements, reviewing solution design documents, and leading testing and troubleshooting exercises.

You will therefore have the skills and hands-on experience to confidently and expertly reach the expected outcomes.

You will lead a team that is well advanced in its journey to implement market leading core business platforms including a new cloud based ERP, a new Reporting & Analytics suite, new Application Integration platform, new Point of Sale solution and more


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead, coach and direct the Technical Project team.
  • Collaborate across all levels of the organisation to initiate and maintain effective engagement with the program.
  • Review technical documents and solutions and provide feedback, to drive quality results.
  • Ensure delivered systems meet business requirements, align to design principles, enable agreed processes and achieve a suitable level of quality and stability.
  • Lead the collaboration between the Technical team and the SME team, to align on requirements and expectations.
  • Expertly encourage and facilitate consultation between the Technical team and relevant stakeholders throughout the business, across both the SME team and other ICT functions.
  • Ensure systems, processes and supporting documentation are delivered to an exceptional quality standard.
  • Be comfortable with ambiguity and have the ability to prioritise and make quality decisions in a dynamic, fastpaced environment.

Skills, Experience and Attributes:


  • At least 5 years' experience in leading the delivery of process and technology change initiatives.
  • At least 2 years' experience leading a multi disciplined IT team.
  • Experience in delivering ERP or similar large enterprise software platform implementations highly preferred.
  • Manufacturing industry experience desired.
  • Experience in employing formal people Change Management methodologies desired.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of an organisation.
This role is for an initial 2 year fixed term contract with the potential for future opportunities.
