Infinite Consulting is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Analyst for our esteemed Federal Government Client. This is a Jan. 2024 start for an initial 12 month contract

About the Role:

In this role you will be leading and conducting risk assessments of Client's internal systems and assessing risk from external connections. Major duties will be:

Undertaking compliance activities in relation to cyber security standards.
Developing IT security standards, policy, procedures, and controls for managing risks.
Supporting the business by ensuring external stakeholders adequately address all relevant compliance standards such as the PSPF, ISM, Agency Risk Management Frameworks and incident management disciplines.
Completing and investigating internal-external information security risk, exceptions assessments.
Documenting and reporting control failures and gaps to stakeholders.

Required skills and experience include but are not limited to:

Experience with Australian Government governance concepts with a focus on ICT, policy/standards development, documentation of frameworks.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to mentor and provide expertise within a team environment and engage with internal/external stakeholders confidently.

Submission Requirements:

Initial term: 12 months

Clearance: Australian Citizens with ability to obtain NV1 clearance
