Cyber GRC Specialist

ACT- mostly onsite, temporary work from home arrangements can be discussed
Contract until 30 June 2024 –12 months extension options possible
Australian Citizens with current NV1 clearance

Infinite Consulting is seeking an experienced Cyber GRC Specialist for our esteemed Large Federal Government Client. This is a 10 months initial contract with 12 months extension options possible further

About the Role:

The role of the Cyber GRC Specialist is for an experienced cyber security Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) practitioner to provide cyber security services to the agency. Core responsibilities include:

Providing specialist cyber security advice to agency projects
Providing advice agency-wide to enhance security operations and practices in accordance with the Protective Security Policy Framework, Information Security Manual and Australian Signals Directorate's (ASD) Essential Eight Strategies to Mitigate Cyber Incidents.
Creating governance documentation as required.
Assisting with implementing cyber security work packages to produce an environment that supports the secure and effective delivery of projects.

Essential Requirements:

Knowledge of the Information Security Manual, Protective Security Policy Framework and Essential Eight.
Demonstrated experience and capability performing a cyber security GRC role.
Demonstrated understanding of Cyber Security incident response process and plans.
Experience in developing documentation, either technical or business.
Relevant qualifications in cyber security – Desirable.

Submission Requirements:

Initial term: 10 months

Extension options: 12 months extension options possible

Clearance: Australian Citizens with NV1 clearance

Submission deadline: 31/07/2023
