    The Role
    Join GPC Asia Pacific's Payroll Team based at our Rowville Support Office.

    To be successful as our next Payroll Officer, you'll be a motivated and detail oriented person, who is eager to learn and who enjoys working in a fast paced environment.

    This role is fixed term, 7 months.
    What You Will Be Doing
    Prepare/assist in the preparation and payment of wages and salaries, accurately and on time
    Maintain pay records including timesheets, leave records and related information
    Reconcile payroll, payroll tax, superannuation payments and authorised payroll deductions
    Utilising Payforce ADP
    Assist the payroll team when required, especially during various pay cycles
    Generate ad hoc payroll reports as required
    About You
    An interest in Human Resources, specifically Payroll
    Workday experience highly regarded
    Ability to multi-task
    Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
    Experience working in a fast paced dynamic environment
    Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
    An understanding of relevant legislation
    Display a high level of confidentiality
    Highly developed interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
    Be a proactive and driven individual with a 'can do' attitude
    Able to work autonomously and within a team environment
