Contracts Specialist based in Perth


About this role

Our client is looking for a passionate, honest, enthusiastic Contracts Specialist to provide support to Procurement and Logistics in commercial operations and customer service.


Key Responsibilities Include:


  • Supplier relationship management deliver value through effective management of strategic supplier relationships.
  • Category management and strategic sourcing build appropriate term category strategies that are aligned with Fortescue business objectives and manage the endtoend sourcing process for allocated projects.
  • Governance and risk management ensure business objectives are met through effective governance, compliance management and the identification, assessment, and treatment of risk.
  • Analysis & reporting effective analysis and reporting of relevant data at all stages of the procurement lifecycle.
  • Business partnering and commercial acumen create and maintain credible and trusting relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure full alignment of procurement effort with business needs and opportunities.

  • Effectively selfmanage with an ability to efficiently manage priorities.
  • Show a level of resilience to challenging circumstances.
  • Experience in Operational Procurement.
  • Demonstrate how your experience to date (ideally seasoned experience in the resources sector) will positively contribute to you being successful in this role and an understanding of procurement practices, governance, and processes.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Commerce, Law or similar is desirable.
  • Police Clearance within 12 Months
  • Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol screening
