- Analyzes software and hardware requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
- Participates in designing, coding, testing, integrating, debugging, configuring, and documenting of software products.
- Consults with customer and Product Management concerning maintenance and product evolution of software system.
- Designs and implements interfaces and middleware software for the integration of Amadeus Airport IT products into the airport/aviation industry and operating environments.
- Diagnoses and resolves software and hardware problems.
- Applies generally accepted programming standards and techniques to assure efficient program logic and data manipulation.
- Optimizes productions platforms and operation procedures.
- Prepares documentation on how to operate platforms and trains the operation staff as necessary.
- Supports operation staff with complex problems and acts as an expert within one or more specific areas.
- Coordinates technical installation of new releases of software with Release Management, Product Management, and on-site Operations.
- Monitors, tests and benchmarks new infrastructure technology and support tools in order to continuously improve solutions to Amadeus' and customer needs in this area.
- Handles 3rd level support production calls.
- Creates and maintains reference platforms.
- Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) from four-year college or university.
- 5+ years related work experience in DevOps
- Good knowledge of airport and airline operations.
- General knowledge of Amadeus fundamentals: history, business, offer, strategy, technology and organization.
- Microsoft Windows Certification preferred
- Experience with iTarian preferred

Leveraging state of the art hardware and cloud technology to deliver the services brings greater business agility, operational resilience, scalability and flexibility to make passenger processing more efficient than ever before.
The Senior DevOps Engineer is an expert in MS Windows and works in the engineering team of airport and airlines operations. He is responsible for the industrialization for all windows based airport touchpoints such as agent driven workstations, kiosks, biopods, e-gates etc. utilizing the same suite of tools for deployments and remote management, applying common security best practices. The Senior DevOps Engineer provides centralized 3rd level support and works in close collaboration with several other groups involved in the customers' implementations and support. The role requires a high degree of autonomy and flexibility.
