DevOps Enginer - Sydney, Australia - Versent
Description
- You will engage with clients via existing ITIL service management tools and other communication channels.
You will proactively look to optimize the clients environment by way of continuous improvement whether by improving automation process, reducing AWS costs or providing innovative ways to provide value.
You're looking to enact change with customers, focus on automation, seek out and implement continuous improvement activities, be authentic with you communication, drive collaboration with team members and work in an enterprise-type environment working within the controls and processes of the client
Key Criteria:
- Has successfully worked in a managed services or operational support team environment. We strongly welcome Developers who possess a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle is ideal
- Ideally has experience supporting large organisations such as Local/State Governments, Financial institutions
- Possess a strong understanding of network, server and related infrastructure management and principles
- Has an ability to execute holistically over the full scope of support activities.
- Has strong experience with the AWS ecosystem with demonstrable evidence of this (inclusive of, but not limited to EC2, EBS, RDS, S3, ASG's, ALB/ELB's, VPC's)
- Capable of operating under a CI/CD Pipeline for release.
- Experienced with API Gateways, ECS, Containerisation & Lambdas
- Understand and have worked with automation and subsequent technologies scripting technologies (.NET, AWS, C#, , Bash, Powershell and Python)
- Understand and have worked within ITIL frameworks for incident, problem and change management in an enterprise environment is preferred
- Is capable of leading junior engineers and adopting the culture of the engineering support group.
