About the role
Reporting to the General Manager you will play a key role in driving the ongoing development and implementation of people and culture strategies designed to meet the objectives of the business.
Responsibilities of the role
- Align people and culture activities to business strategy
- Drive resource efficiency supporting leaders in organisation design, addressing resource needs
- Undertake all recruitment activity including pipeline development and talent engagement
- Implement employee engagement strategies and programs designed to foster a positive work environment and enhance employee satisfaction
- In collaboration with the Leadership team develop tools to assess training needs and implement initiatives that continue to develop the organisations capability
- Champion the performance review process linking to development and succession planning and enhanced performance
- Ensure policies are aligned with business direction and are compliant with employment law
- Manage external resources supporting the business in employment law/practise/process as and when required
Your experience
- Must have experience in a culture focused human resources/people and culture advisor/manager role ideally from within and FMCG/consumer product or service environment
- Demonstrated understanding of needs of an SME and working alongside leadership in the development and implementation of people and culture initiatives
- Active involvement in initiating engagement focused programs
- Developing talent plans based on current and future organisational needs
- Conducting recruitment and talent pipelining activities
- Management of a detailed Induction program
- Lead the organisation of Performance Review process supporting managers in delivery
- Developed quality partnerships with external resources
The role is part-time predominantly WFH over 3 days or equivalent hours, plus occasional meetings with the team in person - would suit someone based South Brisbane through to Gold Coast.
