About the role


You will play a critical role in driving operational excellence through process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives within site automation.

You will ensure automation activities are performing according to their capabilities/throughput requirements & in line with design through medium to long-term tactical & operational planning activities and continuous improvement / optimisation initiatives.


Key Responsibilities include:


  • Working in a passionate and supportive Automation Optimisation team, time will be spent on site collaborating with crossfunctional teams to develop and implement site automation solutions, ensuring successful project delivery, as well as:
  • Leading process engineering and improvement initiatives to identify areas of inefficiency and implement solutions that streamline operations.
  • Driving automation projects to increase productivity, eliminate waste, and reduce manual interventions in processes across the organisation.
  • Utilise Continuous Improvement / Lean methodologies to identify process improvement opportunities and optimise existing processes.
  • Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficacy of automation and process improvement efforts.
  • Providing training and guidance to team members on process engineering techniques and automation tools.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in process engineering, automation, and operational excellence.

Who we're looking for
We're looking for a motivated Engineer, with a curious mindset who actively looks for opportunities and questions the status-quo.

You are someone who is comfortable in identifying the opportunities, reviewing the data, investigating the solutions and managing the results.


  • Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in process engineering, continuous improvement, and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of Continuous Improvement / Lean principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Experience in developing and implementing improvement solutions.
  • Strong analytical, planning and problem solving capabilities with a focus on datadriven decisionmaking including advanced excel modelling and simulation skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams & drive change.
