Each residence has a dedicated team of Facility Managers, Clinical Managers, Registered Nurses, qualified Carers, Lifestyle Coordinators and Chefs.


We are currently seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager working with newly migrated payroll system, UKG - Payroll Metrics and Kronos.

You will lead a close-knit team and oversee the end-to-end payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll.


What you will be doing

  • Ensure that the fortnightly payroll and out of cycle payrolls run smoothly and is completed with a high level of accuracy and on time
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and payroll tax obligations
  • Develop, review and improve payroll policies, procedures and work flows
  • Supervise, coach and develop a high performing customer centric payroll team
  • Ensure that a high level of customer service is practiced and maintained
  • Ensure employee documentation from Human Resources on all payroll matters is completed and correct within payroll and time and attendance systems for payment of weekly staff salaries
  • Ensure that all fortnightly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting activities are undertaken in a timely and accurate manner and any conflicting priorities are met to meet the reporting deadlines

About you

  • Current knowledge of general payroll practices. procedures and operations and related legislation
  • Familiarity with payroll software and time and attendance systems
  • Payroll Metrics and have strong Excel skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Enterprise Agreements, Modern Awards and other state and industry legislation, Payroll tax and WorkCover legislation across multiple jurisdictions
  • Experience dealing with ATO, Centrelink (Services Australia), Superannuation clearing houses and other government departments
  • Solid financial acumen, organised and a proactive problem solver
