The Strategic Priorities directorate provides high level strategic advice in the coordination of policy, programs and initiatives across the Education and Skills portfolio - including Careers NSW, Closing the Gap, Tertiary Pathways and the departments Reconciliation Action Plan.

This ensures the effective delivery of new, emerging and critical work streams and achievement of departmental priorities.

The role sits within the Careers NSW team.

Careers NSW is a program designed to provide career guidance and advice to all NSW residents at any stage in their career.


About the role
The Project Officer will provide a wide range of administration and implementation support to meet business needs. You will develop, implement, and monitor office systems and undertake project work as required to deliver program outcomes.


Key knowledge and experience


Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.


About you


We are looking for two motivated Project Support Officers who are highly organised and who can deliver quality administration services to our team.

You will have excellent communication to build strong relationships with key stake holders both internally and externally to support Careers NSW.
