  • Salary range $134,411 to $155,445 plus superannuation & annual leave loading:

About the role


Lead the Cabinet Liaison team to deliver key Cabinet functions, including the identification, preparation, and progression of submissions for the Department and the Ministers' Offices relating to Cabinet and sub committees.


You will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating complex, sensitive, and highquality advice on Cabinet Submissions
  • Liaising with relevant stakeholders, including Director, Executive Director, Secretary, Ministers, ministerial staff, other senior departmental staff to progress matters in a timely manner
  • Managing the day to day activities of the team and developing strategies for capability uplift across the cluster

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Significant experience in Policy, Government Business or Cabinet Relations roles
  • Previously managed teams in high volume environments
  • Be flexible and adaptable and have the ability to navigate complex and ambiguous matters effectively

Essential requirements:


  • Tertiary qualifications in Policy, Government Business, Law or Politics and/or relevant experience

Key knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
