Be an integral part of the Royal Melbourne Hospital Spiritual and Pastoral care team.

The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria's largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, subacute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.
An exciting opportunity exists for enthusiastic and motivated Spiritual Care Practitioner to join our team at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Imaging Department.

Your new role:

Provide Spiritual/Pastoral care to a wide range of inpatients, and their families and carers
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in providing holistic care
Collaborate with team in providing rituals, including Memorial services
Be involved in organisational education and research.

About you:

You have acute hospital experience with a collaborative working style
Advanced Certificate Clinical Pastoral Education (or equivalent)
Active spiritual practice
Evidence of Continuing Professional development
Multifaith and multicultural sensitivity
Computer literacy (you will be trained to use EPIC Electronic Medical Record)
Membership of Spiritual Care Australia (or eligibility)
