Be an integral part of the Royal Melbourne Hospital Spiritual and Pastoral care team.
- The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria's largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, subacute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.
- An exciting opportunity exists for enthusiastic and motivated Spiritual Care Practitioner to join our team at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Imaging Department.
Your new role:
- Provide Spiritual/Pastoral care to a wide range of inpatients, and their families and carers
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in providing holistic care
- Collaborate with team in providing rituals, including Memorial services
- Be involved in organisational education and research.
About you:
- You have acute hospital experience with a collaborative working style
- Advanced Certificate Clinical Pastoral Education (or equivalent)
- Active spiritual practice
- Evidence of Continuing Professional development
- Multifaith and multicultural sensitivity
- Computer literacy (you will be trained to use EPIC Electronic Medical Record)
- Membership of Spiritual Care Australia (or eligibility)
