Client Details

The business has been truly flying recently and has spent over $100m on new CAPEX and processes at their Headquarters in Sydneys South West.

A similar investment process is under way in Dandenong.

As a result of a resignation the business is looking for its next Quality Manager to lead the team of 2 on site covering QC, QA and audit activities.

Description

Reporting to the Head of Operations and working closely with the Head of Technical this role will be responsible for monitoring food safety production activities, ensuring compliance to the Quality systems & administrative functions on site and will play a key part in maintaining the highest possible quality standards.

Through your team of 2 you will:

Ensure quality, systems and processes conform to all national standards (SQF and HACCP)
Manage the team of a QA and QC inspector
Lead the site around pest control, cleaning, sanitation and the training and development of staff in relation to this
Manage all non conformance tracking and rectification
Contribute heavily to site based GMP audits and lead supplier approval

Profile

Your experience as a Quality Leader/ Manager/ Supervisor has been gained from within the food manufacturing space. You will have a strong understanding of systems, processes and auditing in relation to GMP and HACCP. You are hands on as a Leader and be used to a multi line manufacturing facility. Your practical experience will be complemented by a Degree in a related field.
