About the role

At Mikarie, we are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic, permanant, Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work alongside allied health professionals and other staff in a supportive and well-resourced environment.

You will

• Guide and support a team of educators through the development and delivery of high quality education and care programs.
• Maintain positive and collaborative relationships with the team and families.
• Provide knowledge and guidance towards the delivery of our weekly inclusive playgroup together with experienced Sylvanvale Therapists from the Clinical Services Team and Childcare Director.

About you

You have a genuine interest to be part of the local community and build lasting relationships with families.

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA assessed equivalent)
• Experience, knowledge and understanding of the EYLF and National quality standards
• Demonstrated experience and understanding in supporting children's behaviours and positive guidance techniques
• Interest, ability and experience in supporting children with additional needs planning processes
• Strong communication skills to liaise with staff, parents and management
• High level of skills in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate (needs and interest based) programs for all children 0-5 years
• Exceptional knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Law and Regulations and the ratings and assessment accreditation process ACECQA

Successful applicants will require a COVID 19 vaccination, a current WWCC and a First Aid Certificate within an education setting. An offer will be subject to a police clearance and pre employment medical.
