We are seeking a Production Manager to join our client's operation, a company which designs and manufactures a complex electro/mechanical product, on site in Sydney.

This is a newly created role due to ongoing investment and new product development. The Production Manager will join a senior management team that is collaborative, enthusiastic, and creates an enjoyable working culture.

About the Company

A successful manufacturing and distribution business which provides ruggedised, innovative and efficient equipment to the industrial, construction, landscaping and flooring industries.

Established in Sydney in the early 2000's, their products are designed to be safe, durable and to withstand continuous use.

Role and Responsibilities**As the Production Manager, you will report to the Group Operations Manager and be responsible for coordinating and liaising with internal teams and external suppliers/subcontractors. This includes the in-house design engineering team and third-party equipment suppliers and subcontractors. In this role, you will be responsible for developing production processes from the current prototype/small batch environment into the next stage of volume production, which will involve elements of electro/mechanical and fabrication. You will also be responsible for the whole life cycle of this complex product, from concept through to full efficient manufacturing set-up, and for coordinating and ordering components and sub-assemblies to ensure timely delivery, quality, and acceptable outcomes.
