Kennedys is seeking an experience lawyer to assist a number of partners in Sydney with professional indemnity, financial institutions and Directors' and officers' liability matters.


Types of clients:


  • Professional indemnity and public liability insurers
  • Insured directors and officers
  • Financial institutions
  • Marine and aviation insurers
  • General insurers

Required experience

  • 24 years' experience with professional indemnity insurance, D&O and financial institutions.
  • Have experience in providing coverage advice and acting as defence counsel.
  • Demonstrate first rate legal/commercial knowledge with strong technical and research skills.
  • Ability to draft, advise and negotiate in relation to both straightforward and complex matters.
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Running own caseload.
